Hammers & Hardhats 2025 was a success!

Last month, the IVHFH Women Build committee and staff hosted the annual Hammers and Hardhats event to raise funds and celebrate our Women Build project! While we usually see volunteers at our ReStore and construction site, these events would not be as successful without the many extra hands from our event volunteers.

A special thank you to Brent and Donna Wears of Wears Auctioneering for taking time out of their busy schedule to host our live auction. We always love to see the excitement and playful banter amongst our event attendees and those bidding against each other!

Thank you to our Women Build Committee for all the time and effort they have put into reaching out to local businesses for auction donations, selling raffle tickets, and helping us set up for the event.

Thank you to the fabulous Megan Petkewec of TruArt Color Graphics for being our emcee for the night and sharing her energy and charm with our guests. As Megan always says, ‘I’m fun at parties,’ and she truly lives up to her tagline. Another special thanks to the TruArt team—thank you, David Bywater, for generously covering the printing costs of our programs and event signage.
