Help us raise funds for the Women Build by participating in the Christine Grant 5K Run/Walk for Women Build! The race takes place at beautiful Terry Trueblood Recreation Area; registration begins at 7:30 am. The route begins at Shelter #2 and is mostly flat, circling around the lake and back.
Registration is now open! Get in on special early-bird discounts by registering by April 21. Kids 5-12 register for $5 and those under 5 are FREE!

We highly encourage people of all ages to attend this event! Take A Kid Outdoors - Iowa will be hosting activities at the park and on Sand Lake during and after our event, so plan to make this a fun day for the entire family!

We envision a world in which each person has a decent place to live. Locally, we partner with both current and future homeowners, local businesses, residents, and social service organizations to construct and renovate safe, decent, affordable housing in Cedar, Iowa, Johnson, Louisa, and Washington Counties. We also secure affordable financing so that homeowners in our program save thousands of dollars over the life of their mortgage. Globally, we work to remove barriers to decent housing by supporting Global Village trips and tithing to Habitat for Humanity global builds. Together with our community, Habitat homeowners gain the strength, stability, and self-reliance needed to build better lives and stronger communities.
