    For the first time since 2019, Hammers and Hardhats is back in-person! Funds from ticket sales and auction packages support the Mary Mascher Women Build.     Kevin Hanick will emcee our event and join his fellow band members of The Recliners to provide musical entertainment for guests. Brent Wears of Wears Auctioneering will be hosting our live auction. A silent auction will be hosted exclusively online and supporters can bid on items starting October 19 with the silent auction closing the evening of October 26. Come out for a unique view of Kinnick Stadium, heavy appetizers, a cash bar, music, and more—all to support affordable housing solutions in our community!

We envision a world in which each person has a decent place to live. Locally, we partner with both current and future homeowners, local businesses, residents, and social service organizations to construct and renovate safe, decent, affordable housing in Cedar, Iowa, Johnson, Louisa, and Washington Counties.  We also secure affordable financing so that homeowners in our program save thousands of dollars over the life of their mortgage.   Globally, we work to remove barriers to decent housing by supporting Global Village trips and tithing to Habitat for Humanity global builds.  Together with our community, Habitat homeowners gain the strength, stability, and self-reliance needed to build better lives and stronger communities.
